For 17 days I travelled solo around the entire island shooting almost 24 hours, sleeping in the car, and eating whenever I had the time. During my days shooting this film I shot 38,000 images, travelled some 2900 miles, and saw some of the most amazing, beautiful, and indescribable landscapes on the planet. Iceland is absolutely one of the most beautiful and unusual places you could ever imagine. Especially during the Midnight Sun when the quality of light hitting the landscape is very unusual, and very spectacular.

Go to Iceland…One more thing to put on my “to do” list.  And another thing; watch this video in full screen HD mode on a big monitor.  Tiny little windows don’t do it justice.

If you’re a Stanley Kubrick fan like me, you probably count The Shining as one of your favorite films of all time (like me).  It is a masterpiece of suspense and horror that spawned dozens of pop culture references, as well as countless nightmares for kids and adults alike.  But more than any of the human characters, it was the creepy and desolate Overlook Hotel that was the star of the show.

So, with the Overlook Hotel as my inspiration, I built this elegant but dark wallpaper for your viewing pleasure.  It features the black and white portrait of the July 4th Ball with Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) in the front row.  I hope you enjoy it.

I once watched a documentary about the Rolls Royce Phantom and I was awestruck by the time, effort, and detail that went into designing and building each one. I was utterly amazed by the seemingly unlimited combination of options like custom paint that’s color-matched to literally anything the client wants, and the close personal attention of every craftsman and artist.

One thing that really stood out was the quality and finish of the wood surfaces, like those on the dashboard and console.  Each piece was hand trimmed and polished by a single artist, and the attention to detail was like nothing I’d ever seen.  Everything was literally flawless.

With Rolls Royce as my inspiration, I created this Rolls Royce burl wood widescreen wallpaper.  I hope you enjoy it!

Hello Reddit!  I’m feeling rather preppy today.  I think I’ll put on a crisp white shirt and some khakis and bask in the sun while my imaginary butler, serves me imaginary tea and biscuits.  To help spread my good cheer, I have created for you this plaid wallpaper embellished with the Reddit coat of arms (credit to Redditor licenseplate).

PC and Mac people unite!  This wallpaper will make a lovely addition to the computer desktop of your choice, regardless of your preference.  I also think it would make a lovely blanket, in case anyone wants to do some creative quilting.

I hope this wallpaper will be enjoyed by one and all, especially the preppier redditors (Predditors? Oh, no that doesn’t work at all).

I wanted to do something not exactly fancy, but more elegant than just a plain background.  So, I’ve added some tasteful pinstripes and a subtle vignette around the edges to give it some depth.  The full version is 1440 x 900 pixels widescreen format to fit most newer PCs, Macs, and netbooks.
